Radar Open Systems Architecture Software Engineer at Amentum in Kekaha, HI
Job Summary Amentum is currently seeking a Radar Open Systems Architecture Software Engineer to support the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Range Networks. The Radar Open Systems Software Engineer will be responsible for the software maintenance on the ROSA1 and ROSA2 Radar Systems at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF). MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Perform software updates to ROSA systems Utilizes experience in IA vulnerability testing & remediation, Cyber Security Methods, & RMF; Has strong computer skills; DoD 8140.01 skill set, and Decommutation subsystem programming support languages (i.e. Fortran, C/C++, Visual Basic, MATLAB, awk, python) Perform security updates to ROSA systems Configure and test spare equipment for use in the radars Perform performance checks on ROSA systems and assist in corrective maintenance and troubleshooting Perform performance checks on COSIP radar systems and assist in corrective maintenance and troubleshooting Assist in radar operation during missions Performs other duties as required Minimum Requirements Education:
Bachelor's of Science Degree from an accredited university
Experience:
Extensive precision radar maintenance experience is required Five years' experience in IT Specific knowledge of ROSA1 and ROSA2 systems is required Extensive knowledge and experience with COSIP radar transmitters Background in software development and troubleshooting is required SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment, and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
